E4TECH E4tech is an international consulting firm dedicated to helping clients meet challenges relating to sustainable energy. Our goal is to assist our clients to achieve solutions that are technologically, economically and environmentally sound.
E4tech works at the interface between business, technology and policy. Specifically, we serve clients with challenges in the following areas:

  • Fuel cells & hydrogen energy
  • Biomass & waste for energy
  • Sustainable building
  • Distributed and renewable energy systems
E4tech works for a wide range of commercial, industrial, financial and government organisations with consultants located at our offices in London, UK and Lausanne, Switzerland. We work through a strategic IT partnership to develop software and other digital services and with a network of other organisations to conduct specific aspects of some consulting projects. E4tech also maintains strong links with academic institutions to ensure that we have access to the latest research.

E4tech can work with clients in English, French, Italian, German, Japanese, Spanish and Portuguese

E4TECH personnel has been involved in numerous projects related to the rational use of energy in buildings, building physics, quality of building environment, software and internet applications development, some of which are financed by the European Commission.




Key persons

Flavio Foradini, specialises in building physics, sustainable buildings design and related software development from our Lausanne office. He also has expertise in renewable energy projects and planning. Flavio has worked on these issues with industry, government and academic institutions. He has participated in a variety of Swiss and European research and development projects such as IAQ Audit and Airless, Hope, Euro Islas and Green Hotel. He is a member of the Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects (SIA) and has authored journal and conference papers on his specialisation topics. He has participated in the Eco Building call as expert evaluators for the DG TREN. He teaches building physics at the technical school of Tolochennaz. Flavio holds a degree in Physics and Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL).
